The Greater London Authority and In Diverse Company have partnered to offer the implementation support programme for the inclusive employer toolkits, launched under the Mayor of London’s Workforce Integration Network (WIN) initiative.

This initiative is designed to support London businesses in fostering equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) while driving financial and non-financial growth.

It is open to all employers operating in the following economic sectors:

  • Creative and cultural industries
  • Digital and technology
  • Green economy
  • Health (NHS)
  • Hospitality
Whether you’re starting your EDI journey or looking to complement and enhance your existing efforts, this programme is tailored to meet your needs.

It’s free to attend and provides:
  • Learning sessions and events tailored to help you integrate WIN’s inclusive employer toolkits with your current strategies. Sessions are customised to your sector and your business size, from micro and small enterprises to medium-sized organisations
  • Coaching and consultancy support from EDI and industry experts that would ordinarily involve significant costs – now available to you at no charge
  • Access to a knowledge-sharing hub featuring experts and peer organisations, offering practical insights to complement your ongoing work –currently in development
  • Group coaching opportunities to address real-time challenges and foster collaboration across industries

This programme is flexible, allowing you to choose the sessions most relevant to your organisation’s needs.

Upcoming sessions

1. Deep dives into the pillars of the toolkit | 17 March 2025

The toolkits focus on five key pillars of actions employers can take to improve their EDI:
  • Commitment and collaboration
  • Engagement and recruitment
  • Retention and progression
  • Building an inclusive culture
  • Suppliers

Five hour-long sessions will take place, one for each pillar, where our facilitators will bring these to life and help you understand how to translate these directly into your organisation.

Each session will have the following format:

  • An initial introduction to this EDI consultancy service and thought-provoking questions to attendees relating to the pillar the session focuses on
  • An initial introduction to the toolkits
  • The pillar will be introduced and attendees asked about what challenges they’re facing in relation to it
  • A workshop style segment where our facilitators will seek to help attendees with the challenges they’re facing and suggest practical solutions suited to their context
  • Q&A before concluding the session

2. Humanisation and networking half-day | Spring 2025

This is an in-person half-day event open to employers of all sectors and sizes, focused on humanising the work of the toolkits, and with a particular focus on intersectionality to build understanding of the challenges marginalised groups face in the economy.

Keynote speakers and industry experts speak on related subjects, breakout workshops are held to enable employers to explore these themes more concretely, and time is built in to enable networking.

3. Reflections | May 2025

This final round of events is again split into individual sectors. These are discussion-led sessions, facilitated by breakout groups, to allow participants to reflect on their learnings throughout the programme, discuss their progress and successes with other learners, explore solutions to challenges and difficulties, extract lessons they’ve learnt and evaluate the implementation service and offer feedback on how it can improve.
