This course offers an excellent introduction to both business and IT and is designed for those seeking foundational knowledge in these areas.

Over one year of full-time study, students will complete two qualifications: a Level 1 Award in Workskills and an OCNLR Level 1 Certificate in Business. The curriculum covers a range of business units, complemented by basic IT skills, ensuring students gain well-rounded knowledge. Additionally, the course includes functional skills in English and maths, work experience placements, tutorials and enrichment activities, providing a comprehensive learning experience.

This course is ideal for students looking to develop essential business and IT skills, whether they are recent school leavers or those looking for a career change. Applicants should have three GCSEs at any grade, including maths and English, or a previous vocational qualification. However, if you don’t have formal qualifications, don’t worry—our team will assess your abilities to ensure you're on the right path. A school report or a reference from an employer is also required to confirm that we can offer the necessary support.
